If you're finding any problems at all with the game, particularly any crashes to desktop, please sign up for a free Github account, get them logged on there (if someone hasn't already raised it) and I'll get back to you ASAP and make it a priority to fix. Simulation games are an incredibly complicated programming problem, and bugs/issues are inevitable once there's a certain number of moving parts in the system (a number which was passed a long time ago!) so getting the community to highlight any issues they are finding is a huge help - particular when like this one they appear to be a combination of Intel no longer supporting older integrated graphics cards on Windows 10 with Java - something I would never have encountered on any of my development machines. Firstly many thanks to Alex Esin who has been a huge help with logging bugs at the Github issue tracker. Want to follow Chucklefish too? After working on several prototypes together, Will and Gaziter began developing Wildfrost in March 2020, working remotely across the continent to create the adventure deck-builder you see today. Wildfrost results from the collaboration of a two-person team composed of Gaziter (Artist and Designer on Forager and KnotBot) and Will Lewis (Programmer and Designer of Deadpan Games and Caveblazers). Using deck-building tactics, you’ll head into the frost to battle through enemies to reach the Sun Temple, banishing the Wildfrost and returning peace to the world. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the Steam wishlist data to see which languages the community are most interested in!” About Wildfrostĭeveloped in collaboration between Will Lewis (Programmer & Designer, Deadpan Games) and Gaziter (Artist & Designer) Wildfrost is an exciting roguelike card game set in a world on the brink of destruction from the Wildfrost. It’s always a joy to see people from all over the world play our games, and we hope to expand the language list ahead of launch even further. “We’re thrilled to be able to announce initial localization plans for Wildfrost too. “Wildfrost is such a fun take on the deckbuilding genre, combining challenging strategic roguelike gameplay with an incredibly cute aesthetic! You can’t ever truly be mad when an army of deceptively cute Pengoons stops you in your tracks.” Says Katy Ellis, Marketing & Publishing Director at Chucklefish. Wildfrost will release in English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese in Winter 2022 for PC and Nintendo Switch.
